Corporate Technologies named 2010 Partner of the Year
by Level Platforms

Corporate Technologies has been recognized by leading remote monitoring and management software provider, Level Platforms, as their Partner of the Year.  The award recognizes Dan Rosedahl of Corporate Technologies for leading the way in all aspects of their managed services business, in their partnership with Level Platforms, and in their support of the broader Partner community. Corporate Technologies has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to customer service, business growth, technical innovation, and Partner collaboration.

Corporate Technologies was one of only six award winners announced at the Level Platforms’ All Partner Event on February 4, 2010. The Level Platforms Partner Awards include Community Partner of the Year, Comeback of the Year, Innovator of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Partner of the Year. These awards acknowledge Level Platforms Partners for their success, as well as their commitment and contributions that they have made over the years, both in their partnership with Level Platforms and in the MSP community. A list of nominees and winners can be found in the News section of the Level Platforms website: www.levelplatforms.com.

A list of over 3000 partners was compiled and analyzed by the Level Platforms Executive team. Between four and six Partners were nominated for each of the five award categories, and the winners were chosen based on careful evaluation of the top contenders. “The success and innovation demonstrated by our Partners in 2009 set new standards for managed services that continue to positively impact the entire industry.  Corporate Technologies represents the very best of thousands of MSPs globally.  We thank them for their partnership and congratulate them for proving so ably what kind of success is possible,” said Dan Wensley, Vice President Partner Development and Marketing, Level Platforms.

"Level Platforms has provided a solid  foundation for us to build our managed services solution Technology Advantage.  We are honored to be recognized as their Partner of the Year.  Corporate Technologies’ managed service, Technology Advantage, continues to be our fastest growing offering with 30-40 new companies signing up each month.  Our growth is a testament to the services and products we are delivering to our customers and the dedication of our employees,” said Corporate Technologies General Manager, Dan Rosedahl.

Going Mobile — Can my business benefit?
by Dan Rosedahl, General Manager,
Corporate Technologies' Minneapolis office
Reading about the Apple iPad and thinking about my recent experience of switching to a new smart phone as my primary mobile device for business and personal use, led me to this month’s topic, Going Mobile.

Smart Phones - BlackBerrys changed the business world with constant email connectivity, but the pocket sized devices like the iPhone give you the flexibility to seamlessly integrate your total business workflow including documents, web browsing, and cloud based business applications.
Web Based Email – Getting a desktop-like experience from any web browser is a useful tool for users who want to manage email, calendars, contacts, and documents without overly complex technologies.
Virtual Desktop Technologies - While terminal access technologies have been around for years, the seamless user experience of having your desktop anywhere you go is now a workable, secure, and affordable solution.  Why drag a laptop home every night when you can login to your desktop when you get home?
Unified Communications – Staying connected to your one business phone number may mean more sales or it may result in not missing that critical customer service call. Unified communications technology has been drastically scaled down in complexity and cost.

Is your business taking advantage of the mobile technologies that are readily available? If not, maybe it is time to have that discussion.
