Corporate Technologies Achieves Advanced Unified Communications Specialization from Cisco
Corporate Technologies is pleased to announce that we have achieved the Advanced Unified Communications Specialization from Cisco®. This specialization recognizes Corporate Technologies as having fulfilled the training requirements and program prerequisites to sell, deploy and support comprehensive Cisco Unified Communications solutions. In addition, Corporate Technologies also achieved the SMB Specialization. The SMB Specialization recognizes Cisco resale channel partners whose primary focus is on the small and medium-sized business (SMB) market with fewer than 250 employees.

The Cisco Advanced Unified Communications Specialization allows Corporate Technologies to focus on unified communications market opportunities that require advanced product knowledge and the ability to deploy solutions over multiple sites and geographies. These products include Cisco Unified CallManager, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Unity voice messaging and unified messaging, and Cisco Unity Express, Cisco Unified Contact Center Express, Cisco Unified Videoconferencing and Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Express.

with increasing IT needs
Green Valley Agriculture is a growing fertilizer producer in West Michigan with multiple locations. The company has managed to expand its operations over the past year and continues to succeed in a difficult Michigan economy. Along with company growth, the need for ongoing IT services also increased. The controller was responsible for the majority of the technology maintenance, along with all his other chief responsibilities. Green Valley recognized the need for complete IT support, but were not able to justify the cost of employing a full time IT technician. Green Valley also needed a network refresh, but had limited resources to make a proper self-recommendation.

Corporate Technologies’ Technology Advantage® program was introduced to Green Valley Agricultural. The program not only gave them the 24x7 support they required, but also help desk support, onsite hours and Exchange maintenance and monitoring. In addition, the Onsite Manager (network device) allowed Corporate Technologies to perform a network assessment for Green Valley and render a network refresh recommendation based of their current infrastructure and hardware utilization trends. The Onsite Manager also sent patches to Green Valley’s PCs and will continually send updates as well as a monthly service and inventory log for Green Valley Agricultural to view in the future.
