How much does internet surfing cost your organization?
How often have you walked up behind one of your employees to find them on Facebook, ESPN, instant messaging, streaming music, or reading the newspaper online? It has been reported that employees that work for companies that do not limit or restrict internet access spend an average of 2 hours a day on personal websites. If you have 10 employees who spend an average 2 hours a day on non work related sites that could cost your company 5,200 hours of downtime annually.
Does your organization have anything in place to prevent your employees from visiting these non work related websites or at least limit their access? If you answered no, you are among the majority. Most businesses do not restrict employees from visiting any websites.
Working with a professional technology company can help ensure that your business has the proper content filtering in place. There are a lot of options for businesses to reduce or restrict the amount of time their employees spend on these non productive websites. You may already have some type of filtering in place that just needs to be set up on your network. In addition, you should make sure all of your employees know that all internet activity can be monitored. Every business should at minimum have an acceptable internet use policy in place for all employees. You don’t have to restrict all internet activity, but then again you are paying for them to work.

Hybrid Cloud Appliance Optimized for
Microsoft SharePoint and Exchange
StorSimple optimizes storage for Microsoft SharePoint and Exchange freeing precious SAN storage from storing Microsoft Office documents. Integrated deduplication reduces the storage of redundant data and integrated tiering moves data to the appropriate speed storage including the cloud.
Cloud-Integrated Enterprise Storage with Instant Restore from
Off-Site Backups and Disaster Recovery
The majority of the data on file servers and archives is rarely accessed but always needs to be online. StorSimple automatically identifies the working set data and places it in on-premises, integrated, high performance storage while migrating little-used data to lower cost, elastic cloud storage. StorSimple also provides low-cost deduplication in addition to off-site backup with instant restores.
