Corporate Technologies donates laptops to "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" in Moorhead, MN
If you’re a fan of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” you may have seen a recent episode that took place in Moorhead, Minnesota. The episode aired on Sunday, January 2nd on ABC and featured the Grommesh and Hajdari families. The Grommeshes have a 10 year old son Garrett who has spina bifida, and a 12 year old daughter Peighton, who also has physical challenges, asthma and a pancreatic enzyme insufficiency. The Grommeshes also manage HOPE Inc., a non-profit organization that promotes independence for children with disabilities. The Hajdari family were refugees from Kosovo and also friends of the Grommesh family. In the episode, the Grommesh family was given a brand new 5,200 square foot handicap accessible home. Paying it forward, the Hajdari family received the Grommesh’s original home which was also renovated by the Extreme Makeover team. The project was made possible through the efforts of 5,500 volunteers and donations from local businesses. Corporate Technologies is proud to have donated six new HP laptops to the Hajdari family and an HP TouchSmart All-in-One desktop to the Grommesh family.
